Example: you take pre-calc exams 3 times with the following grades: 60, 70, 80. Then your pre-calc grade is (60 + 70 + 80)/3 = 70.
Example: you take pre-calc exams 5 times with the following grades: 79, 79, 79, 79, 79. Then your pre-calc grade is 0.

Example: you take pre-calc exams 3 times with the following grades: 80, 79, 80. Then your pre-calc grade is (80 + 79 + 80)/3 = 79.7. Note since you chose to take the exam a 2nd time and earned below 80, you were required to take a 3rd time.
To check your pre-calc background, you can take Stewart's Diagnostic Exams A, B, C, D. These are available in our textbook (6th edition) and are also available online at (click on "Look Inside") http://www.amazon.com/Single-Variable-Calculus-Early-Transcendentals/dp/049501169X
In addition to the above, the pre-calculus exam will also cover material from sections 1.1 - 1.3 plus some simple expontial/logorithmic questions (click here, for example of first few questions). Some other places Note I do not guarantee the safety/accuracy/etc. of the following websites:
